This collaboration between vocalist Sherrie Howard, composer pianist Mark Kelso, and percussionist Bill Noren has resulted in an uplifting fusion of traditional Sanskrit chant, jazz-infused rhythms and rich harmonies. Our trio, often with a bassist or other instrumentalists, has toured the Eastern U.S. offering both concerts and kirtan. Kirtan is the traditional group practice of chanting mantras as a meditation.
